Please can you chip in?

If Nutella was made with child labour, would you have your kids eat it? Serious allegations have surfaced. Hundreds of children may be working on Turkish farms every year, picking the hazelnuts that go into Nutella.[1]

We want to launch an urgent investigation. Can you chip in to find the truth?

If we raise the money, we’ll work with the Center for Child Rights in Turkey [2] to capture video evidence and fund investigators.

[1] A New York Times article from April 29, 2019 mentioned that Ferrero is the biggest buyer of hazelnuts in Turkey and that child labor in Turkish hazelnut farms remains prevalent. While Ferrero continues to use hazelnuts for its production of Nutella, Marco Goncalves, the CEO of Ferrero Hazelnut company recently stated: “child labour exists, that is undeniable [in Turkish hazelnut farms].”
