  • Write from the heart and remember to always be polite, let’s not give them an excuse not to engage with the postcards.

Here are some tips for what to write (max 450 characters):

  • 200 scientists have called on key politicians to act without delay. They need to listen to science and not the mega trawler lobbying industry.
  • Every day that goes by is another day of more irreversible damage to our ocean. We’re running out of time. No more delays, ban bottom-trawling now!
  • You can be a champion and protect our ocean, which is a hugely important legacy for anyone.
  • More than 195,000 people across Europe want the EU to ban bottom-trawling. Listen to people and not the mega trawler lobbying industry.
